Thank you all for the helpful and diverse feedback on the subject of LR 6.14 full functionality within the upcoming Mac OS Catalina. That doesn't mean it will down the line, and obviously it would be a drag to have it suddenly go kaput with no way to run it again. ![]() ![]() OTOH, you might get lucky see this thread for some anecdotal evidence it runs in Catalina Beta: The Adobe Cleaner Tool can be used to remove Adobe software on macOS 10.15. While upgrading to macOS 10.15 with these products installed may allow them to function in some capacity, you will not be able to reinstall or activate the software after the upgrade.Ĭustomers may want to uninstall all these old versions prior to upgrading to macOS 10.15, as the uninstaller will not work after upgrading. Old products use 32-bit licensing components and installers and therefore cannot be installed and activated after upgrading to macOS 10.15. Here is the official line from Adobe on Lr and some other products like DNG Converter and Profile Editor: You could also run it as a virtual machine in say Parallels (query whether just to spend the money on Lr 8). ![]() You should not rely on Lightroom 6 running on Catalina.Ī solution is the one mentioned by Peter to run Mojave on a separate boot drive.
